Arrival & departure
This page covers both your arrival and the checklist for when you leave.
Checking in and out #
- Check-in: from 15:00
- Check-out: by 10:00
Keys #
There are two keys for guests.
There is a key safe at the house with one key in it. We email you the code a few days before you arrive, along with exactly where the safe is. That way you can arrive whenever it suits you (after 15:00).
The second key hangs inside on the key rack in the central hall.
When you leave: hang one key back on the rack in the hall and put the other in the key safe — and close it properly, including the slider.
Lost a key? Let us know straight away and we will sort it out.
When you leave #
Please leave the house tidy and swept clean.
Departure checklist #
- Bed linen stripped and left in the central hall, together with towels and kitchen linen (where applicable)
- Dishwasher emptied. Feel free to run it the evening before — a cycle easily takes a few hours
- Fridge and freezer emptied, leftovers removed
- Waste sorted and taken out (see Practical)
- Heating back to its lowest setting. Radiators in the bedrooms can be turned off
- Windows and doors closed, except the shower window in the utility room (that can stay open)
- Games, toys and beach gear back in the cupboard and storage room
- Garden chairs back against the wall of the house, because of wind and rain. The garden chair with fabric upholstery can go in the storage room
- Hammock dry and in its bag, back in the storage room
- Outside doors locked: front door, utility room door and storage room; sliding doors bolted
- Keys: one on the rack in the hall, one back in the key safe (scramble the dials and close the slider)
Is something broken, or missing? #
Please let Lianne know, even if it is minor and even if it was an accident. Then we can have it repaired or replaced for the next guests.
And afterwards #
We would love to hear how your stay was. What did you enjoy, and what could be better? Let us know at info@woeste-willem.nl.
A contribution to our guest book is always very much appreciated.
